I am a native of the Ohio Valley, graduating from St. Clairsville High School. After earning my bachelor’s degree in professional writing and music from Ohio Northern University, I worked in Wheeling as a reporter covering education. I then enjoyed a great gig in public relations for four and a half years before my family and I relocated to Morgantown, W. Va., where I work in communications. I am wife to husband Mike and full-time work-outside-the-home mom to 6-year-old Elliot and 1-year-old Cecilia. When I'm not working or spending time with my family, I'm most likely getting a pedicure or having my eyebrows waxed, all while dressed in the color teal. Most of my blogs are about the meltdowns that occur both at the office and in the home.
