Fun in the Sun 2012

Girl Scouts Day Camp

Good Zoo Camps

Where: Good Zoo, Oglebay Park, Wheeling

Ages: 3-11

When: June 4-Aug. 24; half- and full-day programs; one-day programs; before- and after-care available

Cost: Varies; member, multiple-week and early-registration discounts (April 30); optional box lunches extra

Hands-on animal activities, crafts, nature play, farm activities, imaginative play, investigation activities and photojournaling. Some camps offer daily swimming.

Kindermusik Camp

Cost: $70 a week, additional child discount

Children will play, learn, sing, dance, create and share in the fun of making music along with their peers. Each child receives a home material kit including an instrument.

Missoula Children’s Theatre

Where: Strand Theatre, Moundsville

Ages: Entering grades 1-12

Auditions for “Hansel and Gretel” take place from 10 a.m.-noon June 18 at the theater. Rehearsals for cast members take place from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The show will be presented at 6 p.m. June 22 and 2 p.m. June 23.

Summer at the Museum (SAM) Camp
