Gender identity
My son enjoys pretending to be a girl. Whenever we watch a movie, or a cartoon, he always likes to pretend to be the girl in the show. Is this normal?

Mom mom is a counselor who specializes in children. When I mentioned your post, she said it's hard to say what's going on with so little info, but that you might want to bring it up to the pediatrician and see what he/she recommends. Good luck! (By the way, isn't it funny (strange) how we get concerned when boys want to be princesses but seem totally unfazed if girls identify with Bob the Builder?)
